High impact work, such as trenching, loading shot-rock or tough
break-out work.
Long
Most general applications where breakage is not a problem.
H.D. Long
More wear material; used on larger machines in general loading
and excavating work, it has longer wear life and greater strenght
than long tip.
H.D. Long AFM
For longest wear life, it is provided with Anti wear Facing Material.
Place tip on adapter upside down for maximum life and performance.
Penetration
For highly compacted, dense material, such as clay. It has better
penetration, less wear material and is self sharpening.
Penetration AFM
For better penetration and better wear life. AFM increases wear life
in moderate-to-high impact conditions; self sharpening tip enhances
penetration.
Sharp
Provides the best penetration but the least wear material. Use only
when the need for more penetration overcomes the need for wear
life.
Abrasion
Added material for long service life. Use for extremely abrasive
conditions.
H.D. Abrasion
The most wear material available for long service life. Use on larger
machines when working in extremely abrasive conditions such
as in sand, gravel and shot rock.
Large
Used to reduce spillage or if smooth floor is needed.
