Start By:a. remove radiator 1. Remove the nuts and bolts (2) that hold the trunnion to the engine front support. Put two 50 ton screw jacks in position under the front drive housing at location (X). 9W2295 9W-2295 CARBON LEVEL BLADE 7 # 5/8″ Hole Raise the engine with the jacks until the trunnion is approximately 51 mm (2 in.) above the engine front support.2. Fasten tooling (A) to tube assembly (4) at locations (Y).3. 1. Loosen the clamp that holds the air cleaner elbow to tube assemblies (3).2. Remove four bolts (4) that hold clamp assemblies (2) to the hood.3. Remove hood (1), tube assembly (3) and clamp assemblies (4) from the hood as a unit. 4. Remove cotter pin (5) and the washer, and disconnect prop assembly (6) from the hood.5. Fasten a hoist to the front hood. Remove the bolts that hold the hood to the radiator guard and bolts (7). Remove the hood from the machine. The weight of the front hood is 149 kg (328 lb.). 6. Remove the nuts from switches (9). Remove the four bolts and plate (8) from the radiator guard.7. Put identification marks on the wires to switches (9) for correct installation at assembly, and disconnect the wires from the switches. 8. Disconnect three wire harnesses (10). 9. Fasten a hoist to radiator guard (11).10. Remove the bolts that hold the radiator guard in place, and remove it from the machine. The weight of the radiator guard is 180 kg (397 lb.). The following steps are for installation of the radiator guard.11. Fasten a hoist to radiator guard (11). Put the radiator guard in position on the machine, and install the bolts that hold it in place.12. Connect three wire harnesses (10).13. Connect the wires to switches (10). Put the switches in position in plate (8), and install the nuts that hold them in place.14. Put plate (8) in position on the radiator guard, and install the four bolts that hold it in place.15. Fasten a hoist to the front hood assembly. Put the front hood assembly in position, and install the bolts that hold it to the radiator guard.16. Install bolts (7). Put prop assembly (6) in position, and install the washer and cotter pin (5).17. Put tube assembly (3), hood (1) and clamp assemblies (2) in position on the front hood assembly. Typical Example3. Put O-ring seals (8) in position on each end of core assembly (1).4. Align the connector in the bottom of the core assembly with adapter (9). Install core assembly (1). Install the bolts that hold the core assembly in place. 5. Fasten a hoist and tooling (A) to housing (10). Put the gasket and housing (10) in position, and install the spacers and bolts to hold it in place.
