Komatsu Technical Education Centre (KTEC)
KTEC has become Komatsu Australia’s primary training centre for operators and technicians in Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia. It is one of the region’s most advanced technical training facilities for mining, earthmoving and utility equipment.
Located on more than 3 hectares of land, it has more than 2600 square metres of dedicated training facilities including seven classrooms, five technical/electrical laboratories and a large machine operator’s workshop.
Our expert trainers work collaboratively with your staff to ensure the product we deliver is tailored to the needs of your organisation.
Our trainers combine their personal experience, practical case studies, engaging style and understanding of the resource industry to deliver effective training that provides a positive impact on your business.
Komatsu Training Facilities
Komatsu Mobile Centre
Komatsu Training Academy also offers a mobile training centre, equipped with air-conditioning and its own kitchenette. Our mobile centre can accommodate 12 trainees and provides specific training and workforce development courses that best suit your business objectives.
KTA also incorporates a number of simulators, giving both novice and experienced operators the ability to safely learn on a range of machines.
