We’re experts in supplying you with the right rubber track and providing you with all the information you need. After all, we’ve been doing it for 15 years.
To make sure that we are always supplying the industry with the best set of tracks money can get, we made it a priority to inspect where and how rubber tracks are made.
In China to see firsthand the procedure and quality control processes in place to develop and produce DEKK Rubber Tracks. Tracks are delivered to us in one piece, so it is impossible for us to confirm the inner structure is as it should be when it’s in our warehouse.

The Process
Spending time at the factory provided us with the opportunity to see the early stages of manufacturing. We determined that it takes approximately 48 hours to build each component of the track, but it only takes a couple of hours to construct the track itself.
Throughout the process, components are randomly taken off the production line for inspection. Workers test the durability and elasticity of the rubber, the wear rate and the strength of the metal core bars. Once the track is assembled they are tested again and dimensions are checked.
This trip was a perfect opportunity to improve relationships with the supplier too. This has helped us improve our credit terms (which means we can supply our customers at a better cost) and eliminated any doubts about track quality. We learnt that as long as they are aware of the standard we require and expect, then that is exactly what we will get.
So what did we learn?
We learnt that the process of constructing a track is labour intensive and that proper testing and quality measures are in place to guarantee quality. That means that when we receive them, we have no qualms selling them to our customers. We are so sure of it, that we offer a 2 year full replacement warranty on all excavator tracks.
One of the most insightful things we learnt was that this factory also produces tracks for Genuine Machine Manufacturers (OEM) which is just another guarantee that DEKK Rubber Tracks and Pads will be suitable for your machine.
