Base Edges – General Information:
Our Engineering loader bucket Base Edges are made from high-grade structural steel to provide maximum bucket strength. Bevels are cut at a special angle to leave more steel in front of cutting edge bolt holes, providing additional wear life compared to conventional styles. Optionally, the bevel on Base Edges can be tungsten carbide impregnated for extreme wear conditions. Product literature (PDF).
Base Edges
To avoid unnecessary replacement of worn base edges (a task that is expensive, time consuming, and requires special tools) recommends our Base Edge Caps.
